Administrative Overview

The Reed Union School District Administrative team serves all residents and patrons of the District in the communities of Belvedere, Tiburon, and a portion of east Corte Madera. Reed Union School District (RUSD) is a suburban K-8 school district under the guidance of a five-member, elected Board of Trustees with a 2012-2013 enrollment of just over 1,500 students.

The Superintendent of RUSD is the chief operating officer of the District. He has a small central office staff composed of a Business Manager, a Director of Information Services, and a part time Director of Special Education. There are also three building principals for the three schools of the District who serve on the Superintendent’s administrative team.

The Superintendent, the Business Manager and their support staffs are located in the Central Administration Offices located on the Bel Aire School campus at 277 A Karen Way, in Tiburon. The District Office is open year-round but is closed for major holidays; office hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
