Annual Giving Campaign:
The Annual Giving Campaign is the Foundation’s primary source of funding. This money goes straight to the programs that are so vital to our children at all three District schools: Reed, Bel Aire and Del Mar. Since these programs would not exist without your donations, we count on every parent to make a contribution to the Annual Giving Campaign. Your donations are 100% tax deductible and many companies have matching grant programs available to employees to extend your overall donation. [more]
You can increase the value of your gift by asking you employer to match your donation to The Foundation for Reed Schools! To do so, obtain a matching gift form from your company's Human Resources department and send or fax the completed form to The Foundation for Reed Schools - fax 415 384-0689. It's that easy!
The Foundation holds several fund raising events including Kids Bingo Night on May 9,2012, School of Rock Regatta auction and dinner event on May 12, 2012, a Fashion Show Luncheon & Boutique on May 11, 2012, and Tiburon Day at the Giants in late May. Your participation at these events is important in helping us reach our $1.6 million goal. Everybody benefits from our strong community schools. The Business Partnership Program is The Foundation for Reed School’s program that enables local businesses to support their local schools and community children. By participating in the program at various levels, we help to increase our key business partners’ visibility and shopping loyalty within the district. The school supports the business community and the business community supports the school – a true partnership! [more]
eScrip is the program in which participating merchants donate a percentage of your purchases to The Foundation for Reed Schools. So imagine, you go to the grocery store and a percentage of your purchases go to The Foundation. You get your car washed, you buy some plants for your garden or you purchase new soccer cleats for your child and a portion of your purchase goes to The Foundation. You don’t pay anything more, you simply register your cards (all of your credit, debit and Safeway Club Cards) with eScrip and they take care of the rest. The Directory is a book listing students & families names, addresses, phone number & email address. New families must return a Directory Listing Form download a form here in order to be included in the Directory. The Directory also includes class listings, school & district listings and volunteer listings. Parents have found the Directory to be an invaluable source of information. [more]
